THE LANGUAGE OF ABSTRACTION

A Painting Class with Lesley Grainger

Lesley is our guide to discovering the tools and techniques necessary for building an individualized visual language. Utilizing color, shape and mark making to express ideas that till now have only been seen in our imaginations. At the culmination of this four-week course, you will have learned to free up your painting style and should have many examples to take with you.

SVA will provide acrylic paint, paper, and fun; you will need to bring brushes and canvases or other painting substrates.
